Class Information

 

Ballet
Ballet technique and terminology is introduced as these classes help students develop body tone, grace, balance, and agility. Ballet provides the necessary technique and discipline to excel in all dance forms! Pointe classes are offered to eligible students.
 

Tap:
Many styles are presented as students are taught to master footwork, improve memorization, refine coordination, and build confidence as they study tap terminology and technique. Tap classes are upbeat and a lot of fun!
 

Jazz/Hip Hop:
Students learn jazz terminology and technique while developing body control, flexibility, style, and improvisation. Jazz classes incorporate different styles including traditional, musical comedy, and the ever-so-popular hip-hop. Jazz classes are always the most up-to-date form of dance to study because jazz style is constantly changing!
 

Lyrical/Choreography:
Lyrical classes combine interpretive Ballet, Jazz, and Modern movements and set them to the lyrics/mood of popular music. Students are introduced to the complex subject of choreography through fun tasks that explore different

dance concepts while focusing on lyrical technique. A great class for

improving and understanding performance and choreography. 


Tumbling:
Classes incorporate floor acrobatics, combinations, and choreography.

Students develop strength and increase flexibility while learning to maintain body control, and properly execute tumbling skills. These classes offer great exercises for students to stay fit!

Student placement in classes is determined by dance experience, age, development, ability, and maturity

 

Teachers reserve the right to transfer students when necessary.
Class sizes remain small for the betterment of each dancer. 
Space is limited so register early!
